Welcome to the 2019 Spring Baseball season for the Cartersville Little League! We have so much in store for you and our goal is to keep you informed and updated on all events, practices, and updates on the League!
Communication
Our goal this year is to keep you well informed. If you have any questions, the best way to reach out to us is through email. We have a great team that assists to answer questions on social media and we thank you for your patience in obtaining answers.
Where are we located?
The very best way to locate our fields is to enter the address 51 Clearwater Street into your favorite mobile app. This is in the neighborhood known as “Atco” that was home to many of the people who worked in the old Goodyear Factory, prior to it’s closing. Again, we are at the 4 fields you will arrive at when entering 51 Clearwater Street Cartersville, Georgia 30120. We will be posting an ariel picture of our park on our website to help you out!
Player Evaluations
Evaluations will be held THIS Saturday, February 2, with make-ups available on Sunday, February 3. Players will arrive at the following times. :
Ages 11 & 12: ARRIVAL TIME: 8:30am, evaluations are 9am-11am
Ages 9 & 10: ARRIVAL TIME: 10:30am, evaluations are 11am to 1pm
Ages 8 & U: ARRIVAL TIME: 1:30pm, 2pm evaluations are 2pm to 4pm
We request that you arrive on time at your designated arrival time for your players’ baseball age group in order to register and be assigned an evaluation number. Plan to check-in at the covered pavillion, next to the concession stand. All ages for make-ups are asked to arrive by 1:00pm on Sunday.
Forms
Please turn in all required forms by evaluation. Every player must have a signed medical release form & birth certificate on file. You can upload these to your account, email a copy to [email protected] OR bring it with you to evaluations. Depending on your school & boundary residency you will either submit (1) school enrollment form OR (3) proofs of residency.
Registrations
There are limited spaces available for some age groups. Please encourage your friends at school, church, and other social groups to sign up! Registration must officially close on the last day of evaluations, this Sunday, February 3.
Volunteers
You will notice at the fields this year, many adults with “Cartersville Little League” purple lanyards. Each volunteer adult on the Cartersville Little League property must wear this lanyard at all times. No director, manager, coach, team Mom or Dad, umpire, or otherwise needed volunteer will be allowed on the fields without a lanyard. We ask your help in letting us know you see someone without their identification on the field, that you alert one of our Directors as soon as you are able. No adult should be on the fields or in cages without proper identification. We would LOVE to have you as a volunteer, please fill out an application and you will receive an email from a third-party site to clear you through a background check.
